N-O League golf season begins Monday
Photos by Cheryl Wertman – Looking to improve upon last fall’s 5-7 Niagara-Orleans League record, the Albion golf team is led this season by the veteran trio of Gavin Boyce, Drew Pritchard and Viktor Snyder. The Purple Eagles will host Roy-Hart in the N-O opener on Monday at Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
Medina, which went 8-4 in N-O golf competition last fall is led by the veteran quartet of eighth grader Parker Bruning, senior Max Pilon, junior Cam Fike and eighth grader Tyler Draper. Fike earned N-O All-League honors last fall. The Mustangs will open the league season on Monday against defending champion Akron at Shelridge.
