Former Niagara-Orleans League foursome on SUNY Brockport field hockey team

Off to a strong 6-1 start to the season, the SUNY Brockport field hockey team’s lineup includes a quartet of former Niagara-Orleans League players.
That foursome includes freshman Penelope Schalck from Medina along with the Akron trio of junior Olivia McClaine, senior Sophia Jones and sophomore Julia Klodzinski.
All four are midfielders.
Schalck leads the local group in scoring with 4 goals and 1 assist.
She scored 2 goals in a 7-3 win over Lycoming and solo goals in victories over Allegany (3-0) and Elmira (7-2).
McClaine has scored 2 goals one of which was the game winner in a 1-0 victory over Oneonta. The other came in the win over Lycoming.
