N-O first team All-League runners

The top seven finishers comprise the first team of the All-League squad. From right next to Heil, the runners include Mike Swinarski (Akron), William Schwarzmueller (Wilson), Jacob Arnold (Barker), Jack Hill (Medina), Jack Hopkins (Barker) and Alan Lingle (Newfane). Barker, which had four of the top 10 finishers to win the race and finish the season at 12-0 captured the N-O team title for the fourth straight year and the eighth time in the last nine years.
Newfane’s Kim Goerss, right, took top individual honors in the N-O girls All-League race for the second year in a row. The remainder of the first team All-League runners include, from right next to Goerss, include Nina Burkard (Newfane), Vanessa Burkard (Newfane), Margo Henley (Akron), Anna Rickard (Roy-Hart), Emma Mathes (Albion) and Lydia Chunco (Newfane). Newfane, which had five of the top 10 finishers, captured the N-O team championship for the second year in a row winning the meet to finish at 12-0.
