N-O diamond season set to begin

Weather permitting, Niagara-Orleans League baseball competition is scheduled to get underway Monday with Roy-Hart at Medina, Albion at Wilson, Akron at Barker and Newfane at CSAT, all at 4:45 p.m.

The defending Section V Class D champion Lyndonville baseball and softball squads are also scheduled to open the season Monday at 4:30 p.m. with the Tigers hosting Lima Christian and the Lady Tigers entertaining Wheatland-Chili.

The Medina High tennis team is scheduled to begin defense of its N-O title Monday at Akron.

The week will also be highlighted by the debut of the newly merged Medina/Lyndonville track teams on Thursday at Roy-Hart at 4:15 p.m.
