N-O basketball title race is three-way battle

With just two weeks remining in the regular season, the tight back-and-forth  three-way race for the Niagara-Orleans League boys basketball title will continue this coming week with a number of key games.

Front-running Roy-Hart (6-2) will face Akron (3-4) twice first on Wednesday in a make-up game and again on Friday. Runner-up Medina (6-3) will visit third place Newfane (5-3) on Tuesday. Newfane will also visit rival Wilson (4-5) on Friday.

In the Genesee Region League rivals Holley and Kendall will meet at Kendall on Tuesday for the boys’ game and at Holley on Wednesday for the girls’ contest.
