N-O basketball, swim action resumes

Niagara-Orleans League boys and girls basketball and swim competition resumes this week after the holiday break.

Defending champion Medina (2-0) will visit Newfane (1-0) in a key boys basketball contest on Thursday while Albion (2-0) visits Akron (1-1) in a key girls game on Friday.

In N-O swimming, Albion will host rival Medina on Saturday morning after both teams face road tests on Thursday (Medina at Barker, Albion at Akron).

The Lyndonville boys basketball team will put its undefeated (8-0) record on the line when the Tigers host Pembroke Friday in a Genesee Region League inter divisional contest.
