N.D. tops Lyndonville in volleyball sectionals
No. 3 seed Notre Dame edged visiting No. 6 Lyndonville 25-21, 20-25, 25-21, 25-22 in a Section V Class D3 quarterfinal round volleyball playoff match this afternoon.
Leading the way for Lyndonville were Lorelei Dillenbeck with 7 kills, 2 aces and 4 blocks, Addison Dillenbeck 7 kills, 2 aces and 14 digs, Ashlee Stephens 16 assists, 9 digs and 1 block, Jocelyn Mack 8 kills and 2 blocks and Haley Shaffer 24 digs.

No. 3 seed Frewsburg scored a goal in the five minutes to nip top seeded Wilson 3-2 in the Section VI Class C girls soccer championship game today at Dunkirk.
Leah Cloy scored two goals, the first on a penalty kick, to pull Wilson even at 2-2.
