Problem in Monroe County caused power outage for about 1,000 in Murray
MURRAY – A problem with a high-tension power line in Monroe County in the Brockport area is the cause for the power outage in Murray, not a car accident, as was earlier reported by the Orleans Hub.
There was a car accident this morning at North Main Street near Telegraph Road. That happened at about the same time as the outage from Monroe County which also affected part of Murray.
The power has been restored to Murray, according to National Grid.
