Scoring in every inning, Medina downed host Barker 19-2 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League baseball game.

Triples by winning pitcher Xander Payne and AJ Seefeldt along with two doubles by Brian Fry and one each by Zach Fike and Aiden Paul highlighted the Medina attack.

Payne, who had a total of three hits at the plate, scattered three hits and struck out 11 in five innings of work on the mound. Fry came on to hurl the final two frames allowing three hits and striking out four.

Medina is now 2-0 ad Barker 0-3.

Ryan Mettler threw a three hitter with seven strikeouts to lead Roy-hart past Wilson. He also drove in what proved to be the winning run with a successful squeeze play in the third inning.

The Rams locked up the win by scoring three runs in the sixth inning two of which came in on an error.
