Mustangs tie in regular season soccer finale
Medina played to a 2-2 tie against Rochester Prep in a non league boys soccer game at Vets Park this evening.
Cole Callard scored both goals for the Mustangs.
Medina finishes the regular season at 8-6-2.
In other non league contests, Kendall played to a 1-1 tie against Northstar and Attica/Alexander downed Albion 7-0.
Josh Esposito scored the Kendall goal off an assist from Jonathan Reyes.
Girls Soccer
In Genesee Region League girls soccer, Notre Dame downed Kendall 3-0 on goals by Autumn Mathisen, Emma Fitch and Alison Scheldt and Byron-Bergen blanked Lyndonville/Barker 9-0.
Field Hockey
Newfane defeated rival Wilson 3-1 in a Niagara-Orleans League field hockey game on goals by Kylie Hampton, Gwen Johnson and McKayla Austin.
