Mustangs soccer club downs Hurricanes
The Medina Mustangs FC bested the NY Hurricanes 4-1 Sunday in a Sahlens Cup 2nd/3rd Division soccer game at Sahlens Sportspark.
Carson Zgoda, Jose Perez, Kristin Snyder and Andrew Giacobbe took turns scoring the goals for the Mustangs. Zgoda also had two assists and Greg Husung and Jesse Fergen one each.
The Mustangs are now 2-1 in the league having also defeated the Westside Blitz 3-1 and lost to Meerkats 7-0.
Snyder, Vassilios Bitsas and Ethan Leonard each scored a goal against the Blitz as Husung chipped in with two assists.
