Albion will visit Dunkirk Friday; Medina gets forfeit win over Eden

Albion will be looking to rebound from a 51-6 loss at defending Section VI Class B champion Iroquois as the Purple Eagles visit Dunkirk at 7 p.m. Friday for a B2 Division contest.

Dunkirk opened with a narrow 36-32 B2 loss to Lake Shore.

Medina was scheduled to open defense of its C North Division title by hosting Eden at 7 p.m. Friday. However, Eden has forfeited the game due to an insufficient number of players.

The Mustangs have captured the C North title each of the last three years.

Medina had defeated St. Mary’s of Lancaster 63-0 in the Mustangs non league season opener while Eden dropped a 26-6 decision to Newfane in a C North contest.

Roy-Hart/Barker, which shutout Burgard 31-0 in the Bulls non league season opener, will visit Newfane at 7 p.m. Friday for a C North game.

Holley/Lyndonville, which dropped a 48-22 decision to Allegany-Limestone in the Hawks season opener, will visit CG Finney at 1 p.m. Saturday in an 8 man contest.
