Mustangs, Rams score N-O boys soccer wins

Medina and Roy-Hart both scored Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer victories today.

The Mustangs blanked host Newfane 4-0 to improve to 2-1 and the Rams trimmed visiting Wilson 2-1 to stay unbeaten at 4-0.

Tyler Kroening scored 2 goals for Medina as Jackson Moreland and Mason Moreland each netted 1. Jackson Moreland, Alex Benz and Josh Hilobuk each had an assist.

Brady Christiaansen earned the shutout in goal.

Peter Martillotta and Jack Johnson each scored a goal for Roy-Hart. Martillotta and Aiden Guild each had an assist.

In the other N-O game, Akron improved to 2-1-1 with a 3-0 victory over visiting Albion as Drew Romesser scored a pair of goals.

N-O Girls Soccer
Wilson took over sole possession of first place with a 4-1 win over visiting Roy-Hart.

Wilson is now 3-0 and defending champion Roy-Hart 2-1.

Kaitlin Mettler netted the Roy-Hart goal.

N-O Golf
Medina defeated Albion 250-263 in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match at Shelridge this afternoon.

Aidan Paul took medalist honors with a 37 for Medina as Dylan Lonnen had a 42 and Jacob Rissew a 47.

Nick Andrews led Albion with a 47.

Field Hockey

Medina 7, Buffalo Seminary 2

Medina defeated host Buffalo Seminary 7-2 today in a non league field hockey game.

Penelope Schalck scored 4 goals to lead the Mustangs attack as Emiliana Batista, Sophia Goyette and Isabella Gray each netted 1. Lydia Fox had 2 assists.
