A persistent thunder and lightning storm caused the postponement of this evening’s Roy-Hart at Medina/Lyndonville Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game. The contest is expected to be made up at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Vets Park.

In two afternoon N-O games that were completed champion Newfane completed a near perfect 11-0-1 league campaign by downing Akron (7-4-1) 4-2 and Wilson (7-2-3) bested CSAT (1-11) 6-1.

Chad Gilson and Trevor Moreland each scored 2 goals for Newfane as Clayton Cleveley and Mateo May each chipped in with a pair of assists.

Cesar Carlin scored 3 goals and Steven Lewis 2 for Wilson as Tyler VanBuren added a goal and 3 assists.
