A second half rally fell just short as Medina dropped a narrow 3-2 decision to Akron in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game at Vets Park this evening.

Trailing 3-0, Medina got back into the game on a pair of second half goals by Alex Benz but the Mustangs could not net the equalizer.

Akron built up the 3-0 first half lead on two goals by Collin Rehwaldt, the second coming on a penalty kick, and one by Kiernan Regan.

Akron is now 2-1-1 and Medina 2-2 in N-O action.
