Mustangs open season with tourney win
Breaking away from a 2-2 half-time deadlock, Medina/Lyndonville used a big four goal second half scoring burst to defeat City Honors 6-4 this morning in the opening round of the Tonawanda girls soccer tournament.
Destiny Satkowski scored 5 goals and Anna Lewis 1 to lead the way for the Mustangs which will now face the winner of the Tonawanda vs. Starpoint semi in the championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday.
Satkowski, Stacy Buckland, Kaya Bloom and Lewis each added an assist.
