Rallying for a second half goal proved to be just enough to earn Medina/Lyndonville a 1-1 double overtime tie with Wilson in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game this evening at Vets Park.

Ethan Leonard’s first goal of the season midway through the second half pulled the Mustangs even after Josh LiPuma had scored for the Lakemen in the first half.

Neither team could find the net in the two 10 minute overtime periods.

The Lakemen had nipped the Mustangs 2-1 in overtime in their first meeting this season.

Medina/Lyndonville is now 5-3-3 and Wilson 6-2-3 in N-O action.

The Mustangs host Roy-Hart at 7 p.m. Thursday in the N-O finale and then close out the regular season with a non league game against Oracle at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Lyndonville.
