Mustangs, Lady Eagles romp to soccer wins
Getting goal production from six different players, Medina/Lyndonville rolled to a 9-0 victory over host Rochester Academy in a non league boys soccer game this afternoon.
The Mustangs built up a commanding 6-0 half-time advantage as Oskar Heinsler scored 2 goals and Devin Rounds, Nate Dillenbeck, AJ Seefeldt and Nate Sherman each added 1. Sherman, Rounds, Dillenbeck and Heinsler also each had an assist during that stretch.
Russ Stephen then netted 2 goals and Dillenbeck 1 in the second half. Zaric Boyce and Stephens both had an assist during that surge.
Cooper Fearby and Aidan Owczarczak shared in earning the shout in goal as the trio of Anthony Moule, Jack Whipple and Evan Horn anchored the defense.
Now at 3-1 overall, Medina next visits Akron in a Niagara-Orleans League game on Tuesday..
Kendall 7, Attica 1
Improving to 4-0 in the league and 6-0 overall, Kendall romped to a 7-1 victory over visiting Attica this evening in a Genesee Region League girls soccer game.
Brianna Wakefield and Hailee Mitchell both scored 2 goals as Madison Jacob, Lizzy Woodams and Alezya Brown each chipped in with 1 for the Lady Eagles. Jacob also had 3 assists.
The victory was also the milestone 100th career win for Kendall Coach Pam Barchet.
Notre Dame 2, Holley 1
Arabella Rogers and Olivia Constantino each scored a goal for Notre Dame in the 2-1 G-R win over Holley.
Emma Brady scored Holley’s goal off an assist from Olivia Radford.
Oakfield-Alabama/Elba 5, Lyndonville/Medina 1
Oakfield-Alabama/Elba built up a 4-1 first half lead in route to posting a 5-1 G-R win over visiting LyndonvilleMedina.
Ella Lewis scored Lyndonville/Medina’s lone goal off an assist from Lily Joe Carpenter.
