Mustangs sophomore placekicker earns invitation to national Showcase

Medina High sophomore placekicker Cole Callard has earned an invitation to the upcoming National Kicking Showcase which will be held at Austin, Texas.
Callard earned the invite after placing second in the field goal competition at the Kicking World Camp held recently at Columbus, Ohio.
His efforts at the camp included booting a 50 yard field goal.
Last fall as a freshman at Medina Callard competed in both varsity football and soccer for the Mustangs.
Callard was second in scoring on the soccer team with 7 goals and 7 assists.
On the football squad he kicked a field goal and an extra point.
