Neither team could find the net during a pair of 10 minute overtime periods as Medina/Lyndonville and Notre Dame battled to a 3-3 tie this evening in a non league girls soccer game at Vets Park.

The game was deadlocked 1-1 at the half as Alisha Scroger scored for Medina/Lyndonville and Callie McCulley for Notre Dame.

The Mustangs grabbed a 2-1 lead on a goal by Olivia Carter 10 minutes into the second half but the Irish answered right back with a pair of goals by McCulley with 20 and 13 minutes remaining to take a 3-2 lead.

However, the Mustangs battled back to retie the contest on another goal by Carter with 5:10 remaining off an assist from Scroger.

Medina/Lyndonville, which is now 4-6-1, next visits Newfane in a Niagara-Orleans League game on Tuesday.
