Contributed Photos – One of Medina’s all time great football players, Ernie Clark, was honored with his John “Pinky” Loughlin Football Wall of Fame honor during this afternoon’s Medina/Lyndonville/Barker game at Lackawanna. Clark, who after graduation from Medina, went on to star at Michigan State University and then to play in the National Football League with the Detroit Lions. Today’s ceremony was held because Clark, who was one of the initial inductees to the Wall of Honor, was unable to attend the ceremony that night. He is shown here with the Mustangs team and coaches. The photo at the right shows Clark receiving his plaque from Medina Athletic Director and football Coach Eric Valley. Clark played for the Mustangs during the mid 1950’s under Coach Loughlin.
