Mustangs have two first team All State football honorees

Two Medina players, running back/linebacker Noah Skinner and two-way lineman Chris Johnson, both seniors, have been named to the first team of the All State Class C football squad.
Skinner, who was named C North Division Player of the Year, rushed for 1,470 yards and 27 touchdowns. On defense, he made a team leading 61 tackles and had 2 sacks.
Johnson, a three year two-way starter who was named C North Division Defensive Player of the Year, had 46 tackles and 2 sacks.
The Mustangs also had senior quarterback/defensive back Aiden Pitts and junior lineman Roosevelt Mitchell earn Honorable Mention.
Pitts threw for 882 yards and 8 touchdowns and rushed for 410 yards and 4 TDs.
Mitchell had 36 tackles and a sack.
Albion had a trio of players earn spots of the All-State Class B squad.
Senior wide receiver/defensive back Javon Jones was named to the second team, senior quarterback/defensive back Amari Jones to the third team and senior lineman Nick Radder earned Honorable Mention.
Javon Jones had 30 receptions for 300 yards and 8 touchdowns, 300 yards rushing and 3 TDs and 34 tackles and 5 interceptions.
Amari Jones passed for 1,076 yards and 13 touchdowns, rushed for 612 yards and 7 TDs and had 53 tackles and 5 interceptions.
Albion had Javon Jones, left, is a second team All-State selection and Amari Jones earned third team honors.
