Mustangs face key contests vs. Purple Eagles
Medina will face rival Albion in a key home and home Niagara-Orleans League basketball series this coming week.
Looking to stay in the thick of the N-O boys title race, defending champion Medina will visit Albion on Wednesday in a make-up game and then host the Purple Eagles on Friday. Before that, the Mustangs also face a key contest at Akron (3-2) on Tuesday.
The Mustangs are currently 4-2 and a game behind front-running 5-1 Roy-Hart in the N-O title race while Albion is looking to snap an 0-5 league record.
The Medina girls will host Albion on Wednesday and then visit the Purple Eagles on Friday.
Albion has won two in a row after an 0-3 start to the N-O campaign while Medina is 1-5.
