Mustangs edge past Rams in N-O soccer
A pair of first half goals proved to be just enough to earn Medina a narrow 2-1 win over Roy-Hart in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game this evening at Gasport.
Cole Callard scored both goals for the Mustangs, the first coming with 22 minutes to go in the half and the second with 7 minutes to go on a direct kick.
Roy-Hart cut the deficit to 2-1 when Landen Guild scored off an assist from Rem Albee with 17 minutes remaining in the second half but the Rams could not net the equalizer.
Medina is now 7-2 and Roy-Hart 4-5 in N-O action.
Wilson 2, Albion 0
Undefeated (9-0) Wilson locked up the N-O championship with a 2-0 win over Albion (4-4).

Byron-Bergen 5, Holley 2
Up 2-0 at the half, Byron-Bergen went on to down visiting Holley 5-2 in a Genesee Region League game this evening.
Chis Mosier scored on a free kick and Keon Haughton off a corner kick by Mosier for Holley.
The Hawks next visit Albion at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Akron 7, Newfane 1
Akron (5-2-1) downed Newfane (3-5-1) 7-1 as Aleyna Susfolk scored 3 goals Maggie Middaugh 2 and Lorelei Priebe and Gracie Leiker 1 each.
