Marauders top Mustangs in non league contest
Unable to overcome a 10 point half-time deficit Medina dropped a 74-51 decision to host Dunkirk in a non league boys basketball game this afternoon.
K’Vion Tell scored 25, Greg Orcutt 23 and Avery Krystofiak 18 to pace the Marauders which led by margins of 20-12 after the first quarter, 37-27 at the half and 53-38 after three quarters.
Christian Moss scored 17 and Jerrell Nealy 14 to lead the Mustangs as Jayzon Wills added 8, Cole Callard 5, Preston Woodworth 3 and Briley Allen and Gordan Young 2 each. Moss scored 11 and Nealy 8 in the first half.
Now at 1-4, Medina next visits Oakfield-Alabama next Saturday for another non league contest.
