Mustangs and Rams net N-O victories
Medina blanked Barker 5 1/2-0 and Roy-Hart downed Albion 4 1/2-1 this afternoon to both improve to 4-1 in Niagara-Orleans League tennis competition and remain just a half game back of defending champion Akron (4-0).
Ray Paull, Haylee Seefeldt and Andrew Houseman all scored straight set wins in singles competition for Medina as did the doubles teams of Kody Leno-Jonathan Pietrafesa, Ben Zakes-Carter Green and Isaac Pace-Emma Baldwin.
Collin Dodge won at second singles and Dominic Pericciny at third singles for Roy-Hart. The Rams also swept the doubles matches with the duos of Michael and Jason Kuchey, Aspen Moore-Kayla Hagen and Mason Collins-Jose Campos.
Carson Bader won at first singles for Albion.
In the other meet, Wilson (2-3) downed Newfane (1-5) 3-2.
