The Medina Mustangs 16U team blanked the Lugnuts 2-0 Tuesday evening in a WNY Premier Baseball Travel League game.

Lukas Grimes hurled the shutout as he scattered 4 hits and struck out 5.

The Mustangs scored once in the fourth on an RBI single by Ryan Pegelow and once in the fifth as Lucas Kimber doubled and came home on a single by Jackson Prynn.

Dynamites 6, Angels 6
A shortage of pitching by the opposition caused the Dynamites 16U Travel team to settle for a 6-6 tie with the host Angels Tuesday evening.

A four run third inning on a three-run double by Ryleigh Culver and an RBI single by Evan Poeller highlighted the offense for the Dynamites.

The Dynamites also scored once in the second as Brody Fry doubled and came home on a sacrifice bunt by Vinny Gray and one in the fourth on an RBI single by Gavin Heideman.

The Angels tied the game in the fourth. Neither team was able to score in the fifth, sixth or seventh innings after which the game was called as the Angels were out of pitching.

The Dynamites improve to 19-4-2.
