Mustang stickmen post win over Lakemen

Improving to 5-3, Medina bested Wilson 14-8 this afternoon in a Class D Division lacrosse game at Vets Park.
Zach Blount scored 4 goals for the Mustangs as Josh Wilson, Mitchell Silversmith, Sam Kingsbury and Mark Reigle each added 2 and Zaric Boyce and Tasker Taylor 1 apiece.
Medina jumped out to a 5-1 lead at the half on goals by Boyce, Blount, Wilson, Silversmith and Reigle.
Wilson closed to within two at 8-6 after three quarters but Medina answered with a 6-2 scoring edge in the final period to lock up the win.
Blount and Kingsbury both netted a pair of goals during that stretch as Taylor and Wilson each had one.
Medina next hosts Akron on Monday.
