Moving on top to stay in the second quarter, Medina went on to defeat Starpoint 8-3 in an interdivisional lacrosse game this afternoon at Vets Park.
Breaking away from a 1-1 deadlock, Medina moved out to a 3-1 half-time advantage on second period goals by Zaric Boyce and Will Prest.
The Mustangs went on to maintain a 5-3 lead at the three-quarter mark and then locked up the victory by outscoring the Spartans 3-0 in the final period.
Boyce, Josh Wilson and Cayden Lilley each had a pair of goals as Prest and Sam Kingsbury both netted one.
Now at 5-6, Medina next visits Akron on Thursday for a Class D Division contest.
