Jumping out to a five goal first quarter lead, Medina went on to defeat host Newfane 18-3 this afternoon in a Class D Division lacrosse game.
Up 7-2 at the end of the opening period, the Mustangs went on to outscore the Panthers 8-0 in the second quarter to open up a commanding 15-2 lead at the half.
Mitchell Silversmth scored 7 goals to spearhead the Medina attack. Sam Kingsbury, Zaric Boyce, Zach Blount and Josh Wilson each netted 2 as Jacob Rissew, Will Prest and Tasker Taylor each chipped in with 1.
Improving to 4-2 in the diivison, Medina next visits Gowanda on Wednesday and hosts Wilson on Wednesday.
