Mustang stickmen down Blue Devils
A big first period scoring burst ignited Medina to an 18-9 win over host Brockport in a non league lacrosse game this evening.
Medina jumped out to a 7-3 first quarter lead as Dylan Lonnen and Josh Wilson both scored two goals and Will Prest, Cayden Lilleby, and Jacob Rissew one each.
The Mustangs increased their advantage over the Blue Devils to 12-6 at the half and to 16-7 after three quarters. Lilleby had two goals in both the second and third periods and Cole Callard two in the second.
Lilleby finished with 6 goals, Wilson 4, Lonnen 3, Callard 2 and Prest, Rissew and Ayden Johnson 1 each.
Now at 2-0, Medina next visits Starpoint for another non league contest at 5 p.m. Thursday.
