Scott Barber, a senior defender for the Medina/Lyndonville soccer squad, has been named to the third team of the annual All-Western New York soccer squad.

Barber, a three-year varsity starter and a two-time first team Niagara-Orleans All-League selection, had five goals and three assists, this season helping the Mustangs capture the Section VI Class B1 title.

Akron, which captured the N-O title for the sixth time in the last seven years, placed two players on the All-WNY first team in goalie Austin Medole and Chris Mayrose, both seniors.

Medole registered 10 shutouts and Mayrose had 24 goals and nine assists as they helped lead Akron to the Section VI Class B2 title and the Class B state qualifier.

Newfane senior midfielder Patrick Eadie, who had 15 goals and nine assists, earned second team All-WNY honors.
