Mustang golfers earn fifth victory
Registering a season low team score, Medina defeated CSAT 218-288 this afternoon at Shelridge to improve to 5-1 in Naigara-Orleans League golf competition.
Ian Wagner took medalist honors for Medina with a 39.
The Mustangs balanced lineup also had Gage Masters with a 41, Melissa Green 44, Mike Cardone 46 and Hunter Sturtevant 48.
The loss drops CSAT to 1-4.
Wilson 236, Barker 242
Front-running Wilson stayed perfect at 6-0 by edging Barker (3-2-1) 236-242 as Connor Seely led the Lakemen with a 44.
Barker’s duo of Brad Wilson and Mike Snell shared medalist honors with rounds of 43.
Roy-Hart 250, Albion 284
Murphy Lang took medalist honors for Roy-Hart (2-4) in the Rams win over Albion (0-6) at Hickory Ridge.
Akron 241, Newfane 242
Akron (3-1-1) nipped Newfane (2-4) by one stroke at DanDee Farms as Steve Borowczyk led the Tigers with a 44.
Newfane’s Aiden Herlan took medalist honors with a 43.
