Mustang booters romp in non league contest

Getting goal production from eight different players, Medina/Lyndonville romped to an 11-0 victory over Global Concepts in the Mustangs Homecoming contest this afternoon at Vets Park.

Kristian Snyder scored 3 goals and Ethan Leonard 2 to lead the scoring parade as the Mustangs improve to 7-2.

The Mustangs set the tone at the outset as Vassilios Bitsas scored off an assist from Snyder in the first 45 seconds and then Snyder tallied off a corner by Elina Gonzalez two minutes later.

The Mustangs upped the lead to 5-0 by half-time on goals by Nate Sherman, Matt Hess and Snyder.

Leonard tacked on both of his goals in the second half which also included tallies by Snyder, Jacob Hoffee, Alex Allis and Chase McAdoo.

Newfane 4, Wilson 0
Trevor Moreland had 3 goals and an assist to spark Niagara-Orleans front-runner Newfane (6-0) to a 4-0 win over rival Wilson (3-2), a win which gives the Panthers a two game lead.

Scoring three goals in each half, Byron-Bergen posted a 6-0 victory over visiting Lyndonville this evening in a Genesee Region League game.
