Mustang booters face key week

Medina/Lyndonville faces a key three game week in Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer competition.
Currently at 1-0 in the league, the Mustangs will face N-O co-leaders (2-0) Newfane and Albion in home games on Monday and Saturday respectively. In addition, the Mustangs will visit Roy-Hart on Wednesday.
The Medina girls soccer squad also faces a three game N-O week as the 1-1 Mustangs visit Roy-Hart (1-2) on Monday, Newfane (3-0) on Saturday and host Albion (0-2) on Thursday.
The football action will get off to an earlier than usual start as Holley will face Alexander in a Genesee Region League game at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pembroke.
B-East Division gridiron action on Friday will then have Medina/Lyndonville hosting defending champion Alden at 7:30 p.m. in a key battle for first place between 2-0 squads and Albion entertaining Barker/Roy-Hart at 7 p.m.
