Mustang booters blank Rams

A quick two goal scoring burst late in the first half proved to be just enough offense to earn Medina/Lyndonville a 2-0 victory over Roy-Hart in a Niagara-Orleans League boys soccer game this evening at Vets Park.

Elian Gonzalez scored what proved to be the game winning goal for the Mustangs with six minutes to go in the first half off an assist from Ethan Leonard.

Vassilos Bitsas followed up with an insurance tally with just a minute to go before halftime as Kristian Snyder earned the assist.

Jacob Hoffee earned the shutout in goal for the Mustangs.

Medina/Lyndonville is now 4-4 in the league and 10-4 overall while Roy-Hart slips to 2-7 in N-O action.

Kendall 5, Rochester Charter Academy 2
Jake Adams scored 4 goals and Joe LoSapio 1 to earn Kendall a 5-2 victory over Rochester Charter Academy in a non league game.

Kendall is now 6-6-1 overall on the season.
