Mustang netters nip Lakemen; Rams win

Medina edged past visiting Wilson 3 1/2-2 this afternoon to stay perfect at 4-0 in Niagara-Orleans League tennis competition.

A come-from-behind three set win by Toby Kiebala at third singles provided the clinching point for Medina.

The Mustangs also got a key come-from-behind three set victory by the first doubles team of Andrew Houseman and Kody Leno.

Ray Paull won in straight sets for the Mustangs at second singles while Isaac Pace and Ari Cayea teamed up for a victory at third doubles.

Joey Moote won at first singles and Mia Olear and Glyniss Curcione at second doubles for Wilson which slips to 1-5.

Roy-Hart 5 1/2. Barker 0
Improving to 5-1, Roy-Hart blanked Barker 5 1/2-0 as wins by the singles trio of Patrick Sheelar, Madigan Lang and Evan Birkemeier led the way.

The Rams also got wins from the doubles teams of Cameron VanBuren-Noah Kindron, Mason Collins-Caleb Reith and Kayla Hagen-Kody Hayes.

The loss drops Barker to 0-7.
