Motorcyclist injured after collision with deer on 104

GAINES – A motorcyclist suffered upper body injuries after a collision with a deer late this evening. The man, who was not identified by state troopers, was traveling eastbound at 7:51 p.m. on Ridge Road when he struck the deer near the Densmore Road intersection.
The man was wearing a helmet and sustained a serious injury, but troopers and firefighters didn’t think Mercy Flight was needed. He was taken by Central Orleans Volunteer Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
