The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Orleans County and all of Western New York for Tuesday from about 10 to 11 p.m. until Wednesday morning. Temperatures should remain in the 20s and 6 to 10 inches of snow could fall, the Weather Service advised.

The “watch” means the heavy snow is possible, but the exact track of the storm could change, the Weather Servce said.

This photo shows a creek on Mill Street that comes off of the canal and runs under the street and north out of town.
