Misiti earns Shelridge honor

Fresh from capturing the club championship, Alex Misiti bested four challengers in a playoff Sunday to earn Shelridge Player of the Year honors.

The 18 hole playoff saw the highest net score eliminated after six holes, the next highest eliminated after 12 holes. The remaining three golfers played the final six holes for the championship.

Butch Stupnick finished second to Misiti with Bruce Foley third, Brett Decker fourth and Frank Vekich fifth.
