Middleport bowler rolls his first 300 game
A bowler for 10 years John Ross from Middleport has come close to rolling a perfect game a few times in the past only to come up just short- that was until Sunday.
Ross rolled his memorable first 300 game while competing in the Sunday Rolloffs League at Medina Lanes.
“I’ve had 298 and 299 games so I’ve been there more than a handful of times but never finished it until Sunday,” he said.
“The first ball in the tenth was the most nerve racking so making that helped that the pressure off a little,” he added noting that the suspense did build a little when his ball got stuck before his final shot.
Ross also has an 800 series to his credit.
