Messmer earns All-Conference honors

A second team honoree last year, Albion High graduate and Nazareth College senior Cady Messmer has been named to the first team of the Empire 8 All-Conference volleyball squad.
Messmer, who recently topped the 1,000 career kill milestone, had 348 kills, 310 digs and 66 service aces this season. She registered 68 kills and had a conference best 19 aces in league play as she helped lead Nazareth to a 6-2 conference record.
A four year player, Messmer is a Business Management major.
During her scholastic days at Albion, she helped lead the Purple Eagles to three Niagara-Orleans League titles and one Section VI championship. She was a two-time All-State honoree.
