Rebounding from deficits in both halves, the Medina/Lyndonville U17 team rallied to defeat the Delaware Internationals 4-3 Wednesday evening in a Western New York Jr. League game.

Delaware went up 2-0 on goals at the 22nd and 31st minute marks.

However, Medina/Lyndonville cut the deficit in half just before halftime on a goal by Caelan Holland in the 41st minute.

In the second half, Evan Horn pulled Medina/Lyndonville even at 2-2 with a goal at the 53rd minute.

Delaware regained the lead with a tally at the 78th minute but again Medina/Lyndonville answered, this time with a pair of late goals to pull out the win.

Matt Hess retied the game at 3-3 with a goal at the 86th minute and just two minutes later Holland netted the game winner to improve Medina/Lyndonville’s record to 2-0-1.
