Medina 1 evens score with rival Medina 2 in indoor soccer action
Avenging an opening week 4-2 loss, Medina 1 nipped rival Medina 2 5-4 over the weekend in the Senior Division of the Kenan Indoor Soccer League.
Barry Rogenmoser scored two goals for Medina 1, including the game winner on a free kick with three minutes remaining which snapped a 4-4 tie.
Brennen O’Connor, Josh White and Ian Smith each netted one goal for Medina 1 which improves to 1-1-1.
Steven Anderson scored two goals and Anthony Pane and Brian Anderson each tallied once for Medina 2 which is now 1-1.
In the Junior Division, Medina evened its record at 1-1 with a 12-5 victory over Image Collision of Lockport.
Destiny Satkowski scored five goals to lead the way for Medina. Colby Albone and Elian Gonzalez both netted two as Madison Holland, Trevor Hare and Sherri Kowal each chipped in with one.
