Medina youth gridders score sweep
The Medina Stallions scored a 27-7 win over the Albion Saturday in a Niagara Orleans Football Associaiton Varsity Division game.
Amari Soule opened the scoring with.a touchdown run and Cole Callard hit Jacob Rissew for a long TD pass. Callard also hooked up with Soule for a long TD pass and then he found Rissew again for the final score. Callard also kicked three extra points.
The Medina Ponys win 26-20 over Alden with 2 touchdown runs and a TD catch by Marcel Lamar. Aurelius Schalk also had TD run and Liam Skowneski an extra point run.
Medina Colts did not play as Alden did not field a team.
Medina Broncos downed 26-0 over the Alden JV in an injury shortened game. Christian Moss, Elijah Doxey and Jayzon Wills all had touchdown runs and Latham McEwen Miller a two-point conversion pass.
