MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA – Offense-Defense Sports has released the first edition of its National Youth and High School Football Rankings and Xander Payne, age 9, of Medina, was ranked 207 among all 9-10 year olds in the country as of rankings dated February 25.

Payne was the 37th ranked quarterback on the national list. Additionally, he was the 25th ranked player from New York on the first-ever ranking of this age group for Offense-Defense Sports as well as the 7th ranked QB in the State.

Payne helped lead the LOYAL Medina Colts of the NOFA football league to the championship game in 2013.

“He is very humble and gives all the credit to his teammates for any success they have had.”, stated proud dad, Brian Payne. “He just loves to play football with his friends.”

The Offense-Defense Rankings (o-d.com/football-camps/rankings) are based on a combination of criteria including first-hand scouting and analysis by coaches and evaluators present at Offense-Defense Football Camps held throughout the year as well as highlight analysis and information sent in to evaluators at the Offense-Defense headquarters in Myrtle Beach. The rankings are constantly scrutinized internally as new information is received and gets updated accordingly.
