Medina youth grid squads score sweep

Improving to 4-0, the Medina Colts defeated Holley 39-6 Saturday at Vets Park in a Niagara Orleans Football Association Mini Division game.
Iverson Poole scored three touchdowns, Zach Oliver two, one on a fumble recovery, and Hayden Woodroe one to spark the Colts offense.
The Medina Broncos regained the .500 mark at 2-2 by downing Holley 33-7 in a JV Division contest.
Tyler Chinn ran for two touchdowns and caught a pass from Brian Fry for another to lead the Broncos. Zachary Blount also threw a touchdown pass to Fry and Bobbie Geiger ran for another score.
The Medina Stallions completed the sweep by defeating Holley 39-13 to go to 3-1 on the season.
Quarterback Izaiah Rhim threw three touchdown passes to Vincent Montegue and one to Johnethan Salone for the Stallions which also got TD runs by Michael Eckerd and Ronnie Koonce.
Nick Schutz scored both touchdowns for Holley.
