Medina youth football squads earn wins vs. Oakfield/Elba
The Medina Broncos defeated Oakfield/Elba 21-15 Saturday in Niagara Orleans Football Association (NOFA) competition.
Amari Soule had 159 yards rushing with 2 touchdowns; Julian Woodworth 10 yards rushing, 31 yards receiving and a TD and Cole Callard one passing TD to lead the Broncos offense.
Defensively Brody Fry made 4 tackles, Liam Castricone 3.5 and Xavier King, Maverick Hall and Soule had 2.5 tackles each. Sawyer Kingsbury, King and Breydin McEwen-Miller each had a sack.
The Medina Colts also downed Oakfield/Elba 29-0 but no details of that game were reported.
The Medina Stallions won by forfeit as Oakfield/Elba did not have a Varsity Division team.
