Medina wins, Albion bows in girls soccer action

Medina blanked visiting Grand Island 4-0 this evening in a Buffalo and Western New York Soccer League girls U14 Division game.
Destiny Satkowski scored two goals for Medina as Lydia Battaglia and Hannah Adams both netted one.
The victory boosts Medina’s record to 3-5-1.
Front-running Albion dropped a 3-1 decision to visiting third place LeRoy in a Rochester District Soccer League girls U15 Division contest.
Aubrey Lewis scored for Albion in the second half off an assist from Anna Lewis.
LeRoy grabbed a 1-0 lead in the first half and upped the advantage to 2-0 early in the second half.
Albion still holds onto the division lead at 6-2 while LeRoy improves to 4-2-1.
