Medina, Wilson set links marks
Setting a new team record score for the Shelridge course, Medina defeated Albion 211-267 this afternoon in a Niagara-Orleans League golf match.
Ian Wagner took medalist honors for Medina with a 38.
Melanie Green added a 40, Mike Cardone a 41 and Hunter Sturtevant a 43 for the Mustangs.
Nick Penna shot a 48 for Albion.
Medina is now 8-2 and Albion 2-8.
Undefeated (10-0) league leading Wilson shot a sizzling school record score of 198 at DanDee Farms to defeat host Akron which shot 245.
Brandon Seider earned medalist honors with a 36 and Nate Fox had a 37 to lead the way for Wilson.
The Lakemen also had Connor Seeley with a 41 and Jonah Miller, Ben Kelly and Nick Seider all with 42.
Akron is now 0-10.
